I want to steal this from Eben Pagan - Someone help please?

I'm new. I'm broke. I'm hungry.

Maybe it's because I spent to much time trying to figure how someone does something...

Like this new squeeze form David Deangelo (aka Eben Pagan) has been using lately. I haven't seen it anywhere else:
www (dot) daviddeangelo (dot) com/m/ppc/index (dot) asp <---(sorry, can't post links)

I think it's brilliant!

But I can't get it to work with a regular aweber squeeze form.

Could you help?

PS: If this has already been talked about... sorry, this is my first post, I don't "forum" a lot.

Its a nice page, but its not complicated to do.

Just do a view source on his page and see how he's doing it..

And I think your are right, you can't do with with the standard webforms given to you by Aweber, you willhave to implement the Javascript and css code on your own site and then integrate the aweber form with the JS code..

    Hope this helps

Aweber has this option under webforms:
Lightbox Hover - Fades over entire webpage

Think it will give you a very similar result.

    cheers,

JQuery (super nice javascript framework) would do that.
It's possible to create custom "modal" boxes with JQuery + your AWeber form.

      Thanks alot for the replies.

Bruce, I've been trying to do that but since I'm no html expert I can't get it to work properly... don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Tommy9avh, I will definitely do that, any recommendation on posts?

Sbachell, I thought aweber would do it too, but it's not quite the same. With aweber's option, the user can just close the window and read the page. What makes Eben's form particular is that it just stays in the middle of the page, you can read the headline but you can't read the rest of the page unless you opt-in. Which obviously creates a lot of curiosity as you want to know "How to tell if she's ready to be kissed"... but you have to opt-in.

MemberWing, how would I use JQuery?

      Thanks a million times.

JQuery is javascript framework that allows you to code cool neat looking stuff for web pages.
You either do it yourself or hire someone who knows this stuff (like me ...he...he).

... and exactly how much would a project like this cost?

(I still have a quarter - just one quarter - left in my piggy bank)

Dat's more than enough to acquire necessary skills. Lots of good info and tutorials are free on the web.
