Anyone have any good references on solid email platforms??

I don't promote crazy ****.... Just the typical CB and IM Niche stuff...

Aweber and Icontact are a pain in the rear... SO if anyone can point me in a solid direction for reliable direct email platforms that would be sweet!

Thanks,
R

  • Gmail email send limit - no more than 500 recipients per message for the Gmail web interface, or max 100 recipients if you are using an email client software.
Hotmail email send limit - no more than 100 recipients per day.
Yahoo Mail email send limit - no more than 100 emails or recipients per hour
The rate limit for popular hosting providers such as rackspace allows 2000 emails per day. If you need to send more than 2000 emails per day, you need to use some third party solution for your bulk email marketing.

    • Thanks Mr.Singh1720
  • Aweber is good actually... not sure why you don't like it... however, you can try MailChimp
  • hey i have good knowledege on Email Marketing
I do ESP setups for many clickbank affiliates & CPA networks you can PM me.
  • Aweber is the best for emailing, they allow IM stuff. You can also try GetResponse. MailChimp doesn't allow IM stuff for emailing, you will be banned for sure. Cheaper solution is to build your own emailer using Inspire Email software, this is the best software, only 1 time and no monthly costs.
  • I use GetResponse and have no problems with them. I like their platform, it's pretty solid. Easy to setup and deploy.
  • You should checkout Sendgrid, Sailthru or Amazon SES. These are large volume services which require some basic tech skills to set up.
  • Don't use Mail Chimp for affiliate marketing - it's against their TOS.
  • Hey Riley, what's your experience with iContact? I'm thinking to switch to them

MailChimp is a very popular, highly extensible and extremely user-friendly email marketing platform and has the following features: unlimited mailing lists, Google Analytics integration.

    • I wouldn't recommend that. It's difficult to run your own mail server properly and monitor bounce backs, spam reports, blacklists, IP blocks, etc.

If you can, go with SendGrid or Amazon SES. You'll need some programming skills to get started but once you do, you'll have lots of flexibility and be only paying ten cents per thousand emails you send out.

I have never used an Emailing Platform until now but I know that MailChimp is very popular, user-frindly and useful for building and managing e-mail campaigns.
