Magento / Store URL Parameter with the order
Hello ,
I have Magento with its ordering process.
When a user orders a particular product(service in my case ) the product page will have a parameter in the URL such as ?adfsd=something.
The point is to store somehow this parameter with the Magento order so later when viewing the order people can see what this parameter was.
Also part of the job is to create an HTML/Java ? code that goes to a vbulletin threads . The parameter I am passing to magento is the current thread URL on vbulletin. So this code must get the current URL in vbulletin , open the magento product page and add the parameter there.
Then magento needs to include the parameter as part of the order.
By the way , the code must reside in a AD HTML block in VBULLETIN ....
Not sure if you can put java in these HTML blocks...
Not sure if this the right way to do it..
Basically I need to get a URL from VBULLETING , pass it to a product page in Magento ... and then store that URL as part of the magento order.
Small budget 10 to 15 USD.... ( more next time )
