Software to design apps

Hello y'all,

I don't know the first thing about apps. I don't even have a cell phone. Anyone here have any experience with app development for phones?

I am looking for tips on how to develop apps and/or software to use to do this.

Any resources that will get me on the right track as fast as possible appreciated.

You can try seatle clouds but you could only make simple apps

You will need some kind of device to test your mobile websites in the wild, especially if its apps. You can't just use a simulator if the app is meant to be used outside.

There is lots of software out there for basic simple apps; just need to be careful about the terms as some of them publish under their name and not yours or your clients.

Check out Appcelerator Titanium. It uses HTML, CSS, and Javascript to produce iOS, Android, Web, OS X, Linux, Windows, and Web applications.
