Have I got this right? (HTML 2 WP)

(Using WP Multisite)...

-Create a subdomain to use as a test/dev site e.g testsite.mymaindomain.com

-Create new site in WP admin mapping that test domain and get to work copying content over and developing 'new' look WP site.

-Backup database of original html site, delete all files (via phpMyAdmin?) then map the Main domain to the newly developed site and set it as the primary domain.

-Url redirects.

-Delete subdomain?

    It is easy if you emport the the test database "wp-posts" and import on live server it will save your time to copy and paste you content from place to another

    Have you ever tried to do something like this on your own??? If not then you should try this and i think you will get your result.
