What coder would I need...

Hi all,

I'm looking for someone to make a piece of software for me but I have no idea what I'm looking for to even start an advertisement on oDesk or Elance!

I'm looking for some software that creates a unique account with a website, authenticates the account, logs in and leaves a random spun 5* comment and rates the website through their jQuery form.

Does anyone have any idea what sort of coder or what I'd need for this project?

  • Someone who is good with UBot/ZennoPoster or making bots in general shouldn't have too much trouble with this. If you use "bot developer" in the title/description you should attract some people with the necessary skills. See if they have made bots in the past for creating accounts, doing submissions etc. If so this should be fairly straight forward for them.

  • Zennoposter easily does it. You don't need a developer, it is easy to get done by yourself, but if you are really limited in time - I can recommend you a good one.
  • Beware though, most programmers who write good bots have already packaged their bot and sell them.
    My advice is: find a programmer friend, tell him to learn web crawling (takes about 7 days) and write a simple one, like, post thank you on facebook every minute (30 lines of python code)

    I would second the uBot suggestion. It is worth the investment of time and money.

  • ugh -- I hate UBot apps. It's a deciding factor for me when looking at a piece of software.
  • Are you looking coding software? I believe to code manually because any bots software reduce your skills which is not good for you dear.
