Only newsletter subscribers can see the blogposts?

Hi guys,

with Google Adwords becoming more greedy for content and links on the landingpage I thought I look what Eben Pagan is doing in his businesses(doubleyourdating, catchhimandkeephim).

Eben was the inventor of the squeeze page and I guess if they would still work and bring solid results he wouldn`t change to the "fake membershipsite"

I want to do the same with a wordpress website but need some advice.
Visitors can view the full posts only after they opt in

Are there free plugins that can do the job?

Hi, This is a plugin that I've used in similar applications to what you describe:

WordPress › WordPress Access Control « WordPress Plugins

This will give you finely tuned ability to make content only available to certain registered members. If you want to push emails out to people that have registered for your sites there are some plugins for that as well.

In the future I'd recommend to go to WordPress › WordPress Plugins and use the search there. Like if you want to send an email to all your wordpress members you can just type in "Send Email To Members" and there's quite a few things to look through.

Hope this helps, let me know if it was what you were looking for!

    Thanks for the advice.

And how would Aweber know that somebody registered as a member?

There is an Aweber plugin that allows them to subscribe when they register. Unfortunately it only works with the default registration page.

There's a lot of aweber based plugins that will help you do this, aweber has a lot of specific terms on how you can use their system for dual registrations however. So keep that in mind in however you implement your solution, you can view all of awebers rules on their site.

This is a fully featured plugin for handling newsletter signups on wordpress: WordPress › Newsletter Sign-Up « WordPress Plugins It will allow you to just add a checkbox on the user signup page for them to sign up on both.

To enforce members having to be subscribed to your newsletter to view your site you won't be able to use a 3rd party newsletter provider without some very complex coding.

You can look for a wordpress newsletter plugin that will have quite a lot of functionality and allow you to email all of your wordpress members, there's a ton of newsletter plugins for wordpress and that's something you just need to look through yourself at WordPress › WordPress Plugins
