Problem after Java update

I just had a Java update and now I am getting this message while browsing:

Message from webpage

Curvy object warning
Zero-width box with no accountable
parent tag: div

Once I get this message I can't get rid of it or do anything on my computer. I have to restart and then I get the message again after browsing a bit. Any help would be appreciated.

  • What's the Java version you have update? Its compatible with your script?
  • Check the java version and perhaps you can go to the directory and remove it.
  • That shouldn't have anything to do with Java, that sounds like it could potentially be malware or a browser level problem. Did you try a different browser, if that doens't work run a virus/malware scan. It could also have to do with browser extensions.
  • This is not a Java issue. Java updates typically generate a runtime version error exception provided that the compiler differs from the runtime JVM. What you're seeing is something else that's probably a bug.
  • I think most probably you are using the wrong version of your java software. You should match it with your script.
