  • Contact your hosting company. I had the same thing and hostgator sorted it out.

There were some threads here talking about WP and hackers. I was just reading there a few hours ago. May be they are related? Although the message seems quite strange....

    • Yes I had two clients that had website hacked this morning they had some issues with regard to running an authorized php class which exausted memory, this was used by the bad dudes or dudettes, to gain access to the box, your situation may be different but I would have a good look around your account files to see if anything looks odd to you,

when I looked at this issue this morning, the first thing I looked at was the error log and that is where I found the intrusion, they did a lot of nasty stuff including changing the login so you cant login to wordpress, using a redirect script to display over written index files,

they changed the email address so you cant reset the password, mean buggers.

Later today or in the morning if you do get hacked you will need to over write all the index files, in both the main directory and in the admin directory, you will have to access the database and change the email address back to yours so you can reset the password, (very quickly)

And then change your main user password to something impossible to guess.

Of course it could just be a minor issue, or something else entirely just a quick share, have a good one.

    • Hi Eddie, thanks for the reply, I just needed to add a bit of code to a file but still don't know why it happened as it was fine 1 minute then no access the next!
  • Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

      to the .htaccess file.
  • Who is your host? Most major hosting companies provide a live chat service...
Get on there and someone will be able to help you out asap.

    • Thanks for the reply Brad, I'm with Servage, contacted them through a ticked and got a email back in 8 minutes and sorted the problem out.
  • Contacting your hosting company is the best way to go.
Unfortunately, there isn't much info when it comes to these types of errors.

    • Thanks for the reply, contacted them and had it sorted straight away.
  • You can increase memory limit in wp-config.php or if you have access to php.ini increase the max upload limit.
  • Are you using a dedicated hosting or shared hosting?
If you are using shared hosting you may need to upgrade your hosting plan.....

This error shors us that there are something.... most likely a theme ( optimizepress or wishlist ) or plugin create this problem...

You need to use FTP client and go to the theme folder... rename it and they to load you site on browser... check what happen..........

Then try renaming all plugins one by one.... Surely you will get some result.........

Hope this helps.... PM me if you need more help.........
