Any aweber pros in here

Before I go ahead and spend some time researching this one, just wondering if there is a way for me to send an opt-in link in an email.

IF so, some links or tutorials on how to do this would be awesome

  • Not sure what you mean. Why not just point the link to a page containing your aweber form?
  • I'm going to be operating offline seminars as part of my services and will be getting leads and optins in person.

Instead of having to send someone an email to point them to another site just to opt into my mailing list which will then direct them back to their emails, it would be better if I can just send them 1 email with a link that opts them in

Re: It seems kinda silly that Ive already qualified someones email and then having to send them to a form that makes them re-qualify it again Im concerned that this may in fact lose me business

    • This is one way to do it...

How Can Someone Subscribe to My List By Email? :: AWeber Knowledge Base

One drawback with that method though is that you would not be able to use any personalization tokens in your emails to them (in other words, your emails would start with "Hi there" instead of "Hi Bob".

If you want to be able to personalize your emails to them, then you could manually submit each subscriber yourself (in Aweber, go to Subscribers > Add). When you do that, Aweber will immediately send them the opt-in confirmation email.

Of course whether it's worth the trouble for you to do that is up to you, but if these are high quality leads, then it may be worth it (or at least worth getting your VA to do it!)

  • I don't know, never try. But you can do experiment, grab the HTML code from web form. And paste to email.
