Add Opt-in to Wordpress Plugin

Hi there,

I have a wordpress plugin which I would like to add an opt-in to when people first install and activate before they can use it.

Is there anyone out there that would be able to help with the code for this?

    What are you trying to mean by opt-in??? I am not familiar with this word. Would you please give me more information about this??

    Hey,

    Drop me a pm with contact info, I should be able to help.

    If I read your request correct - you want this:
    - User download and install the plugin.
    - After installing, have to go to an activation link, where they register/opt-in
    - They then get an activation code via email response or similar (to ensure good email etc)

    but - why not get them to opt-in in order to get the plugin, or is it to help protect it from being shared?
