Facebook Developers! Please Help!

I have an idea for a kind of affiliate program using Facebook credits, and wonder if this is even possible.

For example, it costs someone a credit to click on an item. If it's a 50% revenue share, then the first sale would go to the product owner, and the second sale of the item would come to me, the platform/app owner.

Is this even possible?

As you can tell, I'm completely new to fb apps, so have no clue. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks

James

  • I think you should hire Facebook developer who can helps you in a better way.
  • Hey James,

Here is the thing with a Facebook credits .. I dont know if it applies to your idea or not .. but something to keep in mind. First for FB credits .. you have to be selling a virtual item .. now a 'click' might be considered a virtual item .. but if the click is a link to a real product you might run into some issues. Second .. for FB credits .. FB takes 30% of the credit value .. so with a 50% rev share between you and the other party .. your both will actually be getting only 35% of the credit value 1/2 of the 70% thats left over after FB takes there 30%
  • Thanks FirstSocialApps. Extremely helpful.

Is it possible then to program such a scheme? I would effectively be selling a click, so this would work i think. Instead of 50% rev' share, i'd make it 30% rev share instead or 50% after fb charges!

    James :-)
  • Well yes I could do coding for that. However I dont really work as a freelancer anymore. Im busy with my own apps. However you could try elance.com
