Is Wordpress the Best Platform for my Idea

Hi,

I own seven rental properties (13 units) in addition to working a full-time job. I have also flipped several properties. The trouble is my time. I have a wife and three kids and am trying to stay involved in their lives as well. I have managed to become very efficient in running the properties, but would like to get more so. Eventually I would like to be able to travel with my family for extended periods and manage the properties remotely.

That's where the web can come in handy. I want to create a program or website that would allow me to have tenants post maintenance requests that get sent (either through email or text) to my approved contractors, have them respond with an estimate and/or date/time they could be available, be able to approve the job and send feedback to the tenant when they will be there. If something changes, they can send a text or email in and it will notify the tenant and me. It may involve several tenants because I try to schedule them to hit several units at once in one day. Some kind of scheduling program would also come in handy to schedule appointments to view the place when it is empty and I am trying to rent it out.

I would also like to tie something in to keep track of expenses, make it easy for tenants to pay rent or other bills online, provide notifications such as they are moving out, and fill out applications.

Could you guys recommend the best way to do all of this? Thanks for any tips or advice you could give. Eventually this might be a program I could sell to other landlords. Any programmers want to partner with me in this?
