How to book time slots?

I'm working on a project right now and I'm not sure how to accomplish this feature at the best cost / timeframe. Warrior input would be appreciated.
Basically, I have a website where I'd like people to list their schedule / availabilities and then "buyers" reserve and pay for those time slots.
Any of you know a customizable wordpress plugin or something that could be used to achieve this, or what else would you suggest?
Right now, there's few competing sites but the ones that are doing this only schedule stuff through email. It's tedious and looks amateurish. So I don't NEED to automate it, but if it's not too complicated / expensive then I'd do it.
