WordPress Pages going to Error?

UPDATE: IT'S FIXED!!

I got the answer from a post in Squidoo. :-)

Hi all!

My WordPress pages are being directed to page-not-found files that actually belong to my html sites.

I created a video to explain this because it's much easier than trying to type it all out.

If anyone can help, it will be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

Firstly, the videos are private and I can't see them. Second, I think I had the same problem and my hosting support, after I sent a lot of emails and stumbled on a good fellow who was willing to help, fixed it, he said that my .htaccess file had something missing in it.

Yes, I really think it's something in the .htaccess file too. I think I'm going to submit a support ticket.

      Thanks!

Okay watched the video and it's pretty much like it happened to me. So, I'm guessing it should be the same problem.

Thanks Ledux - now I don't feel so all alone, like I did something wrong.

I just submitted a support ticket with links to the videos so I don't need to spend hours on the phone trying to explain what's going on. ROFL

I just did a MAJOR overhaul on the bookmarks site so that site MUST have the 404 error page load correctly because of having links out in the webosphere to the now-defunct pages.

But at the same time, I'm hooked up with a couple of advertising sites that require I keep my Affiliate Disclosure visible.

          Fun times...
