Help With What CMS To Choose

Hi, I want to make a website that allows you to buy points and then redeem them on the website so that you can buy advertising space on websites. does anyone know of any scripts like this? also would it be hard to code in php? i plan on learning soon

  • If your just learning PHP then I would try something more simple than this to get going.

    WP is probably the most popular CMS in the world. You can try searching WP plug ins and see if there is something that will suit your needs.

  • The advertising space thing actually works best with Wordpress or Joomla.. Wordpress would be easier to use.

    true but not for a person that doesn't even know how to program yet

    WP is the way to go.. however the poject you are proposing is not the way to start to learn.. so start with something a lot simpler or have someone else create this project for you.

    CMS-wise, WordPress will serve you best. For the project, you may need to outsource to code the script for you.
  • I've had the chance to try different CMS systems like Joomla, OpenCart and Wordpress amongst others.

    Based on my experience the easiest to work with for modifications or to do anything really Wordpress is 100% the way to go.

    As a beginner, WordPress is by far the best.

    If you learn PHP later, you can do anything you want by creating your own plugins.
