iframe help please

I wonder if someone can help me ?

I am using a Video Hosting company to host some clients videos on their websites. My clients have embedded the iframe on their sites but I am worried !

What if the hosting company I use goes out of business? I would have to get all my clients to change their code again. This would be hassle and cost me money.

Is there anyway I can retain more control by having the iframe on my site and redirecting it to my clients site?

If not what sort of server would I need to host clients videos myself?

  • Why dont you host them on YouTube or other popular site with you know will be around a long long time. Then use embed them on your client sites. Also get you another backlink for SEO. Or you can just store them on your clients sites and run them from there.

  • You technically could.

    Like you could display their site on your site by specifying ID's in the URL.

    So like: http://yourdomain.com/index.php?id=1

    Then in php you would display their site depending on the ID.

    Then they use an iframe that points to your site.
