How to create a pop-up opt-in

Hi,

Could anyone suggest where I could find some tips about how to program in a pop-up box that contains an e-mail opt-in. I'd like to add one to the side of my sales page with a free offer and e-mail opt-in option.

I'm looking for the type that is still allowed to be linked to from Adwords.

Something similar to the one on the "day trading robot" sales page.

Any ideas?

I would suggest starting with Javascript and learning the basics of the DOM. After you have a decent idea of that move toward learning jQuery.
