WP Permalink Image displays instead of Page

I have a post that I wrote prana-revolution-natural-sticky-mat

prAna Revolution Natural Sticky Mat - EndTheTrendNowEndTheTrendNow

What seems to be happening is an media image with the same name prana-revolution-natural-sticky-mat is showing up instead of the page. Seems to have occurred either after I moved the site to a new server or after I updated to WP 3.5

Anyone experience this and how do you go about changing it. I thought pages and post had precedence over images if their names were the same.

    Well I figured out how to fix the problem.

    You have to go into media, search for the image and then attach it to a post. That way they can have the same name and it doesn't load the image first.

    What bothers me is that WP images weren't attached for whatever reason when I did a WP export and then did a WP Import. I have something like 400+ images now that aren't attached. Not sure which posts are ok and which posts an image will load instead. Real pain.

    Works fine for me. You may want to flush your browser cache, restart your browser, then try to load the page again.

    You should NEVER see just an image, unless you've clicked on a linked image from a post or page. Whether or not an image is 'attached' to a post in the Media Library makes absolutely no difference.

    Images don't use the permalink system - in order to see just an image, you must use the correct URL - something like domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/imagename.jpg
