Curious About Cost of a Theme

I am looking to create a theme that works for wordpress a simple theme with the options I need in it. Trying to see who can build a theme and around about of prices that it would cost?

    Prices for Wordpress vary greatly depending on quality you are looking to get. Do you need a unique theme? You can check out themeforest.net and see if there's a theme already you like? Those only go for around $40-50.

    Custom-made themes can cost anywhere from couple hundred dollars to thousands of dollars.

    Get the Atahualpa Theme.

    This is the only theme I use when creating client sites. It has a built in control panel and you can change virtually everything. There is a superb forum where you can get help and ideas. It is also FREE.

    I have been using this theme for 3+ years.

    To be honest it depends all on the details you provide. Normally flat rate development cost don't turn out to good.
