A sad day for me

I am a new blogger at : ketangaikwad.com.

My site was hacked and suddenly started ranking for adult, pharma and pay day loan keywords in Google. Now when I have deleted the malicious php file,I am still ranking in google for these keywords. Howevery, when clicked,it returns a 404 error page.WIll google take time to de-index this ?

I have fallen from rankings in Google on low competition keywords. My questions is : Is it possible to recover from this or has google blacklisted my site ? My domain authority is 44 and page authority is 44 with PR 1 and mozrank around 4. If I decide to start with a new site, all the hardwork for this site will go in vain. What would be your suggestions ?

I have filed a reconsideration request in Google and the cool guys at sucuri have fixed the malware.

  • Contact google support and let them know what happened.

Or nuke your hosting account, get a new domain, and put up a new site. That's what I did when I had the same problem a few years back.

    • Ok but I have done a lot of hardwork for this domain and site. Are you telling it is impossible to recover from this ?
  • Hey,

If you were blacklisted you can file a reconsideration request in Google webmaster tools i believe, it may take a small amount of time but should help you out.

    Cheers,

  • You have less than 6 months invested in it, I would look to start over with the same content on a new domain. See if you can buy an aged domain with PR2 or 3, preferably with a relevant keyword in the name or a shorter more memorable name.
