Hey everyone,

I have a website that uses version 1.3 of Magento, which my wholesaler built for me. I've decided that it isn't working for me and that I need to switch over, both in terms of hosting (a faster provider) and web design.

A couple questions...

I was told that:

"please be aware the shopping cart, affiliate program, autoresponder system and your blog will no longer work properly once you move to a new hosting company."

• If I upgrade to the latest version of Magento, buy a new theme and install it, how would I go about reintegrating my shopping cart, an autoresponder and my blog (via Wordpress)?

• Would I lose all of my products (507) and have to relist them manually in the new template?

I am a total n00b at this, so that's why I'm asking. I appreciate your support!
