Help With AlstraSoft Affiliate Network Pro

Hi folks,
I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on how to set this up. I have it up and running but there are some things that need to be changed. (It's all PHP) but I don't believe that's the problem.

The company say's that there are a bunch of things you can do but they don't tell you any info. When I get a hold of them (this is hard enough) they don't answer the question. They keep refering me to the setup instrutions which don't tell me anything.

VERY Bad Company! Anyway, I was hoping that maybe someone here has had some expirence with this program and could help me out.

  • Sure there's a lot of stuff which need to be changed on that software. I've worked with that for almost two years, customized and added a bunch of things. For instance, the cookie tracking mechanism wasn't working (at least the version that the company I was working for bought) and the support (if it really is support) as you said terrible! I think the guy's name was Ross or something.

    Anyhow, what do you need help with?

    • My partner and I purchased the Altrasoft Affiliate Network Pro 8.0 and have experienced the same support problems that you have. We're pushing through, but there is a situation we can't quite solve.

      Can anyone explain how to get a transaction (lead) ID to show on the form submission that is sent to the merchant (and to our admin)?

  • Was just looking for something about this, and even the thread is old I think its still worth mentioning as nothing changed. My cousin got scammed by these guys, he even referred his clients to them and never got the commission.. it just disappeared, and they delivered a buggy script which was unuseable and worst of all, they stopped answering their email now lol anyway alstrasoft is a company to stay away from in my opinion, I'm now seeing more and more complaints about them, all following a similar pattern online

    Recommend solution for it?
    I do not use unix and php version is 5.3.8

  • The Software is buggy to say the least. Would not recommend it to anyone without a good understanding of PHP.
