Wordpress not displaying meta description tags please help!

Hey Guys,

I just noticed a strange problem with my site that has me dumbfounded and i'm wondering whether anyone has any ideas.

I googled my index pages to see how fast a post was getting indexed and found that nearly all the results had the same descriptions which were text that i don't have on my site.

Then I checked my site code and noticed that it wasn't displaying anything for the description tags or keyword tags you can see a general post on my site here and no meta description or keyword are displayed.

I am running "all in one seo" plugin which is up to date and displays the description etc under the post so can't understand whats happening.

Would really appreciate someone with some more experience than me shedding some light on this.

    Hey Michael 71,

    Thanks so much for your reply much appreciated. You are right I didn't look as far down as at the top there is an empty "description" meta tag.

    But are you then able to explain the display results in google under nearly every result it gives the description as "Alcohol use should provide the long way can dampen Where To Buy Levitra Where To Buy Levitra even specifically the december rating assigned. Much like ..."

    Don't understand that at all.

    Ok I have found the answer my site has been hacked now to sort the issue out.

    Hey Edge360,

    Thanks for the advise, i've been hacked before and this time thought I can be bothered with the hassle plus i was lucky to have even noticed as it isnt a malware hack so I have paid for a year security and then will remove everything and get it all sorted and scan the site for a year.

    More hassle free lol
