POPUPS??? HELP

Everyone has seen theme...you go to a site

and a pop up asks you to subscribe to get free

stuff or something of the like.


My question is..."how?"


I want to incorporate this into a few of my sites to build

lists and I don't even know where to start.

Is it a plugin???

  • If your on WordPress, then yes... a plugin. And there's are tons of them out there.
  • Don't do it, its really annoying for the users. Am sure 90% will just close that popup.

    A person will subscribe to your list only after he has seen whether you are giving some valuable information or content. I don't think anybody will subscribe without knowing you, your website, your content.
  • Some really tricky that the 'close' is not a close function but redirecting to the other sites and I really hate this!
  • There is some coding required first in the header section then settle the link for the pop window on the web page and finally code the web page.
