Customizing Vbulletin Forum Possible?

I tend to run a forum for local celebs in our country. Can i customized the vbulletin with placing different ads, can i put a chatroom in their or do they have chatrooms?. Or should i go to wordpress because they have a lot of plug in there?. What can you say about webstart builder they allow chat and forum?.

    • VB is very customisable but i do find it a bit clunky, I prefer xenforo which was created by the original creators of VB

      Either way you can customise them any way you want with ads
  • If you want a forum Vbulletin is your best bet.

    It is quite customizable as evidenced by WarriorForum.

    If you do a search you will find that others have added chatrooms to it.
  • Hi Philip, I use vbulletin for the ClickBump support forum. I could not run support for ~5k members without it. With that said, in terms of look and feel, although you can customize it to an extent (I've applied some custom css to it), its not as intuitive as it could be.

  • Yes you can customize it easily if you know about advance php codeing and about the classes of php.
