Need help with wp login...I see only profile after logging in

Hello,
I installed insta-member plugin on my website. I think the trouble started when I ticked "sync wp users with insta-member" option. After that, I couldn't login to my admin dashboard again. When I login, I only get to the profile screen.

All the previous admin dashboard where I work on themes, plugins etc are no longer accessible. I've contacted the insta-member support. Since I've not heard from them, I felt I should ask for help here.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

[disclaimer] I am not saying this will work, but it is what I would do in your situation. [/disclaimer]

The best thing you can do is to access your site via ftp.

Navigate to the wp-content folder, then look for the plugins folder, open that up and locate the insta member folder. Delete it.

You should then be able to log in to your admin panel as you did before.

If you don't have ftp then go to your sites hosting control panel and use their file manager to locate the folder.

Instamember adds a lot of tables to the database, you may need to remove those too. They all have wp_stms_ in their description.

Thanks Janet for your reply. I did what you said and it did not work. Maybe there's another issue to be corrected besides insta-member.

Not sure if just deleting the folder would work as this plugin might have added things to the database.

If you have a backup of the database from before you installed this plugin then use that otherwise it might be worth having a look around the database tables to see if you can change the privaliges of the admin user when logging in.

Try renaming your plugins folder to something else like "xplug" then login to your admin panel and select plugins. WordPress will then disable all the plugins, and then you can restore the plugins folder to it's original name. Your site should be functional and you can turn on the plugins one at a time. You probably have a conflict between 2 plugins creating the problem.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

I already did that and when I logged in, I was greeted with the image above.

Can you show us a screenshot with whatever you can see when you login?

Also, can you clarify this please?

After that, I couldn't login to my admin dashboard again. When I login, I only get to the profile screen.

Can you login or not? If yes, what changed, how did you achieve that?
