Need idea for new software

So, I've been around for a while and haven't really posted a lot. Through PM's and/or Skype I've helped some of you with your programming problems. I want to write an application and offer it for free, no catch, and open source. But I need ideas of what to write. All ideas are welcome.

    • Youtube Downloader
    • Craigslist Scraper
    • YellowPage / WhitePage Scraper
    • Mass Emailer

    • What would be the purpose of a yellow page/white page scraper? Collecting data? What would the export be? What would someone want to use it for?

      I'm bored. I feel like doing a little overnight hack project. Scrapers are easy to churn out. Would anyone even use it?

  • I am not sure if there is an application that will list freshly listed prices on the internet for a product that is described on a website. This should include the name of the seller, say, like WalMart, Target, etc. , the price, and the link to that seller. But this is what I was interested in.

  • People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.
  • A program that takes articles from certain blogs and categorizes for you so you can read them at a certain time. Or a type of event/planner with prioritizing features? Both could come in handy for internet marketers.

  • I would recommend you to make any sms api which can work worldwide so that many people can use it. This is the most used commnucation so i think its a great idea

  • I know this is going to sound crazy because there is so much of it out there now. But a SIMPLE CRM software product would be great. Most of it is so complex, no one wants to use it.

  • Write a program that will create / write its own storys. Im still waiting for the conclusion of "The Policeman Beard is Half Constructed"
  • One of the hardest softwares to find are the ones to keep up with your ranking in the serps. There are a few out there, but they always charge a high monthly fee. Another idea would be something to track video ranking.
