so i have version 3 of plugin that has 5 features

i somehow foud version 2 that has 7 features useful ones I want ot use them

I installed version 2 on site B without ever installing version 3 on it and I can see all features

But on site A where i want to use this plugin ,version 2, I first installed version 3 then deleted all files deacticated plugin then installed version 2 again

But site A knows I installed version 3 first and hence its only showing me features of version 3 ,not 2

maybe its because of some plugin cache or something ? Please help me I really need to use this :/

thanks very much

It's difficult to answer without the exact name of the plugin.

Using anything other than the latest version of a plugin is not recommended, as it may open your site to vulnerabilities/being hacked.

There is a reason people update plugins... But if you must - how did you go about deleting the plugin? Just sounds like you deleted some files and deactivated it without actually just deleting it from the plugins page (WP is quite good normally in removing all files so you don't have to manually do it...)

Was there a readme file with the v3 zip file? They sometimes have instructions on how to properly remove and delete the plugin (might have to edit the theme to remove).

Otherwise make sure you've checked your folders using FTP that everything has been removed.
