Wordpress Theme Editor?

I have been looking online for the best option to creating Wordpress Themes with software and it looks like you can import WP files into Dreamweaver and edit them, also I saw a program called DesktopServer that looks like it is customized to work with Dreamweaver and it cost $99 so I guess total cost for both would approach maybe $500. Does anyone have a cheaper better way to create/edit Wordpress Themes in WYSIWYG?

    Hey buddy!

For all of my web projects, including WordPress, I just use MAMP (WAMP for Windows) to run the projects locally on my Mac and to edit the code I use a program called Sublime Text.

Sure this isn't technically a WYSIWYG editor but I'd say it's better. As long as you know the basics of a coding language, you can make a change, refresh Chrome (or whatever browser you use) and the change is instant.

    Hope this helps

Aside from learning how to build a Wordpress Theme with HTML/PHP/CSS from Online Tutorials (and there are a lot of tutorials out there)

a.) Headway Drag and Drop WordPress Theme Builder - I bought this one and it generally has been a good experience

b.) Wordpress Theme Builder | Real Drag and Drop Layout Builder

c.) Drag and Drop Builder Plugin For WordPress

d.) Artisteer - web design software and joomla template maker

And there are Many more out there. My prediction is that within 1-2 years wordpress software will include a theme that is very easy to edit (e.g. drag and drop)
