On one of my websites, I had a guy add a page whatever.com/blog and then add it to a top nav bar so when people click on it they see a list of the blog excerpts from the last 5 posts or so. I'm getting more into managing these sites myself so I'm figuring things out as I go but can't for the life of me figure out how this is done.
Question: Adding Blog Section to a Page of its Own

When I look at the /blog page that was created in my site, there's no content inside it. I looked in every file inside Edit Themes and there's not a single reference to a page called /blog.
So, what the heck pulls in content when someone clicks on a top nav bar that has a link to /blog?
Adding excerpts is another question I'll save for later
