Does Craigslist Read ipv6 for geotargeting?

I am thinking about setting up a VPS with 16 ipv6 addresses to do postings. My question is will craigslist recognize this address to where the ipv6 data center is? I don't want any geo-targeting issues for posting...

Why would Craigslist want any non-human posting?

Who said a non-human would be posting? Have you ever heard of remote access?? Are you just trying to get your post count up or something?

A person posting to CL can simply do so from their own desktop. The OP said they wanted "a VPS with 16 ipv6 addresses to do postings". Why would they need 16 separate IP's (v4 or v6)?

For more information, see the craigslist terms of use .

The question is, why do you care? Unless you are employed by Craigslist, which you aren't, it shouldn't matter at all. This forum is to help other marketers out and help yourself with knowledge to make money. Sitting on here playing Craigslist Police shows how much you value your time- do you want to increase your knowledge and the size of your wallet or waste your life making asinine comments.

Another question is, why are you so defensive? I can't think of a reason for someone to ask a question such as yours and be so very defensive about it when asked your purpose behind it.

And before you go there, I do value my time highly, but there is an allowance (in my life, at least) for the occasional recreational pursuit. I'm not a 24/7 money-printing machine.

Defensive, absolutely not, the fact that he came on the to thread stating something totally irrelevant is the issue. If someone is going to ask a question to a question -a bs rhetorical device by the way- at least ask one that could possibly have some sort of tangible outcome. "Durrrr..... uhhh.... I don't think Craigslist would want no non-humans posting," yeah no s*** Sherlock, tell me something I don't know.

Why would you need 16 IP addresses, then?

I don't have time to explain the basics of posting to you- if anyone has something intelligent/useful to share please post.

It amazes me how people come to a forum asking for advice, and get so bent out of shape. Clearly no one here wants to help you violate the craigslist TOS.

This is exactly why I don't visit WF anymore. After being on this forums for double digit years the self-pretentious people who have nothing better to do but put negative comments to a post they have no need to post on in the first place.

If you do not have something constructive to say, go somewhere else and waste someone else's time.

Aharrold, I noticed you pretty much have not been on WF in years either. Would love to chat with you.
