Hide Posts in Wordpress

Hi there,

I don't know if this is the right thread to post this in, so please redirect if needed.

I need a way to hide posts on my WordPress site Wonderful Wanderings - Home.
I know about the plugins WP Hide Post and Simply Exclude, but neither seem to work completely for me.
WP Hide Posts manages to hide pages, but posts are still visible in various areas of my site (in the 'next/previous' post navigation, on my blog page...) and Simply Exclude doesn't hide them everywhere either.
I know tons of people who use WP Hide Post without any problem, so I think it might have to do with the setup of my site?

Either way, if anyone could help me I would REALLY appreciate it!

  • It's either your theme, or another plugin that is conflicting. You could create a child theme and edit all the files that display posts.

    • Have you tried changing the posts to drafts, or changing the date they are published to in the future.

This is what I have done previously to hide posts which I did not want to be seen, straight away.

      Hope this helps.
  • Can you take a look at the next/prev code? If it seems to be something completely custom, that might be a reason why the articles still keep appearing.
