Listening Tool - Forum

Hi

There i am looking for a tool that can listen to forums. Need to monitor approx 30 active forum for keywords.

Looking at 2 option

- Live listening tool if there is any

- Scrap forum to local server - run search by time...

    Listening in which context?
    You mean reading RSS in realtime?
    You can achieve that using JQuery, you can google for "JQuery RSS Realtime"

      You can use Google Alerts for that. For the search query, use the following format...

      site:ForumURL.com keyword

      And for how often, select "as it happens".

      You can set up as many different alerts as you need.

      Of course, "as it happens" means "whenever Google gets around to indexing it" (which could be minutes, or hours, after the post actually goes live). As a general rule of thumb, the more popular the site is, the more often it will get indexed.
