Need Tracking Software

I am running a wordpress site and I am making an incentive offers site right now. Before I can officially launch I need some tracking software, I need to track users and I.P. I need third party tracking to follow them through the offers. I would like it to confirm for me that my site is the one getting paid (not a cookie from some other site) and then I would like it to send a message to my point system telling it the user earned the points. I know it seems like a lot. Any advice would be helpful.

You could use Google goals and conversion tracking in analytics. As for the point system you will need to find a plugin or have a custom plugin created.

I've been looking for the same thing as I'm working on an incentive based site as well and decided to have a custom plugin built for this as it seems to be the only solution.

For one you're going to work with Sub IDs and APIs from the affiliate networks, especially if you want to automate the system. When a user clicks on an offer you'll need the system to first modify the offer link so that the Sub ID value is replaced with the usernames and then redirect them to the offer landing page.

To make it an automated system you'll need to request data from the affiliate networks and you'll need to have API access so a developer is needed in this part.

If you're not going to work with APIs then you'll need to go to each affiliate networks web dashboards and go through the sales and reports and locate the users who have made offer purchases then manually give points to those users back on WordPress.

It's a little tricky and you'll need a developer to get it working but like I said, right now it's the only option available.

Theres a few different products out there that does this.

      link trackr
      quality click control
      and even bevo media

I personally prefer quality click control because it does what all of those others do, and a few extra things. But most importantly, it was the easiest most user friendly tool...and there is no cap on the clicks you can track.

I show quite a few examples of how I use it here.

I think the most important thing is to just go with a software that does what you need it to do. dont worry about all of the bells and whistles...

Something like bevo affportal would track everything you need. IP, geo, keywords, time, day, what LP and offer used that converted. Its been my favorite tracker to use for most of my campaigns. And It's been free for years!

      @James 0
Those are just link shorteners and to tracking click not conversions.

Don't use bit.ly anymore because it's been blacklisted by Google apparently.

Anyway, hear good things about MyClickBoss as a tracker. Personally I just use the free version of Clickmeter and that has served me well so far.
