Hey guys, I've done much work with ANSI C, but lately C# and .NET... If you look through my website, you will see I cloned a mailer (optisend) - straight after Dark Mailer, with better options! ALso, I've made a web Spyder, email extractor (AWESOME!), and also a nice YIM BOT.

I've been trying to work with snippets of code from different projects to mend them together to accomplish something...

Do we have any coders here that dabble in WIN32 heavy API enhanced coding? Can be for C/C++/ or C#...

  • Not too many C# guys here, most people just stick to Wordpress or if they code then they use PHP.

    I'm a big fan of C# but my current day job is with VB.NET (supply chain stuff).

    If you want to make money from coding then just get a job - C# is white hot right now. It's currently the #6 most in demand skill (stats).

    But if you do want to make your own software, then B2B stuff is great - just write a Sharepoint Add-in or something that does something boring that companies will pay $1000 a go for.

    I do like C# a lot, but the future of web programming is lightweight jQuery with a back-end that just feeds data to and from SQL Server/SAP/CRM systems.
