MySQL databases have vanished!

I think Im about to faint....

There i am browsing my website, when all of a sudden the network starts timing out. 20 min later the website reads "Error establishing a database connection"

I checked MySQL Databases and it says "There are no databases associated with your account."

WTF. I cant afford this mess, 2 sweet websites and 2 forums and they are gone! All that bloody awsome content...All that time invested...all that money......bollocks....might as well go sell my body.

I've contacted my host, as one does when the shit hits the fan. But in the mean time can anyone shed some light on why this has happened.

I think i just might cry.

    Mostly some issue with the host I think.

    Anyway you might be having backups right?

    If you told them quickly they could have restored them from previous days backup.

    In future you may want to save the sql files to your computer via myphpadmin etc.

    It is a problem with the hosts,some thing happened with one of my websites 2 months back.actually there was a big problem on the webserver of my host and database stopped functioning because of that.No problems webhosts keep the backup of databases,they will restore them soon.

    All is well, apparently they had some "configuration issues with server".

    Ouchhh....I'm sympathy for the loss man...I've experience a bit same like you...but not as tragical as you. My cronjob task gone one day. Later I asked my host also got sh** reply.."We don't know what happen, by the way you always can re setup right?" That is the reply.
