Wordpress RAM Hit 700MB

Hi guys currently i have wordpress website hosted with Godaddy shared hosting and my hosting package got 1024MB of ram

recntly i have noted that my ram usage is going very high and sometimes it hits 100% which end up with server unreachable error for visitors.

i am not sure how i can solve this. even i tried following options

disabled all plugins - no effect
changed theme - no effect
change theme and disable all plugins at one - no change
re-installed wordpress using dashboard inbuilt option - no effect

i have only 400 visitors per day but my Akismet catchs over 1000 spam comments daily.

if anyone could help me i am very thankful

    • Why exactly did you dredge up a post from almost a year ago?

  • Please check the server error logs. It should give some hint of the real cause.
