So, I already know Java, and I want to start learning how to make Flash games. Could anyone recommend an AS3 IDE that runs on Linux, and a series of tutorials?
Thanks in advance.

Instead of giving what you asked I will do one better. Don't start on Flash now. It's a dying tech.

Mobile devices don't support it, even Adobe dropped mobile flash support 3 years ago (Jobs Was Right: Adobe Abandons Mobile Flash, Backs HTML5 | WIRED)

At this point I would honestly recommend going for HTML5 or iOS/Android native. You will be much better of in couple of years.

are you sure you want to learn how to make flash games? It's actually a dying technology now, browsers sometimes are having trouble with some flash.

Anyway, there are a lot of tutorials and books still available online. You try and google it.

If you want to ramp it up, how about try mobile programming(android maybe) since you have a java background, it would be a lot better in my opinion.

    Best of luck.
