send notification mail to the person tagged in post with his user name or email
Actually now a days i am working to develop a social site in wordpress and i want to achieve this feature like when some name or email id (the user might or might not be registered user) starting from a particular character like @ is entered in post name, post content or comment, then a mail will be sent to that person. I ve some idea of wordpress and php. So if no plugin is available then please guide me how to achieve this.
