A Unique Linking Opportunity

I'm gonna say this right up front and get it out of the way. It doesn't apply to 99% of you, but for the 1% that it does, PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MINE BY TRYING TO GAME THIS.

Okay, now that that's out of the way...

I just started a project more for fun than anything, and I thought I'd give the folks here an opportunity to play along with me.

I'm trading my way from a stainless steel coffee mug to a boat, much the way that Kyle MacDonald traded from one red paperclip to a house.

I've just put up a Wordpress site to document the project, and I've made the links in the comments dofollow.

The site isn't even indexed yet. I've posted ads and links at Craigslist and Kijiji, and just a trickle of traffic has started. I'm going start slow with the linking and promoting. You will get no immediate benefit from a link on the site, but down the road you will.

The way I'm working the trades is I'm asking folks who are interested to post a detailed description of their trade item in a comment to the post of my current trade item. Each winning trade will be documented in it's own post with some information about the trader, a picture, and a link a site of their choosing.

Are you getting how you could benefit from this?

So, here's the deal.

I'm looking for unique physical items in trade that are cheap to ship (at least for now). The weirder and the more newsworthy, the better.

If you seriously have something you would like to trade, go to the site, read enough to understand what I'm doing and what the trade procedure is.
