There’s a lot of buzz about Google’s new Penguin update and it has a lot of website owners and SEMs running scared.

Google said that the new change affects 3.1% of the search queries. But the changes we felt were much more, approx 15%. There was a lot of talk about this on all the webmaster forums and it was the hottest topic.

Google considers links which are not related to the niche as un-natural link and then Penguin/Panda slaps the site if you dont have niche targeted links and natural links.
