I have started a new web site at How to do anything - your questions answered , and I am looking for articles for content. Each article published will carry an author credit, together with a link to your own web site if you want it.

Your site is very new. Very few pages indexed. I would suggest you to add some more articles, get them indexed and then ask people for articles. This way more people would be interested in submitting articles on your site.

Thank you for your suggestion. Yes I am aware that it is very new (I said that in my post) and has few pages. I am suggesting people might like to submit articles now, at the early stage so that they can get in at the ground floor.

I do not intend the site to be made up of articles I have written myself, but to be a vehicle for anyone's articles. The more people contribute, the better for all , as no one person can possibly write articles on every subject imaginable.

My role in this experiment is to supply the infrastructure for authors to be published for free, not to be an article author.

Also, it is the early pages that will get better page rankings once the site has grown, and that will benefit the authors who get their articles in early. I may also be looking for 'experts' to answer questions later on and they will be chosen from article authors who submit high quality articles.

Answering questions may be an opportunity to make some money as questioners will be given the opportunity to thank or 'tip' good answers with a Paypal donation. Similar to a system used a few years ago when we had askme.com (happy days).
