hi is there anyone out there that offers a service to get my clients who run local brick and mortar businesses like plumbers and taxi services etc to get them listed on google maps for there area and actually coming up on page 1?

I know I need citations but just look for a trustworthy decent service provider to take the headache out of the equation for me

You must first add them to the google places, they must confirm their address (post card with pin from Google) and then the rest are backlinks and citations.

Whitespark does a pretty decent job.

About 98% of the citations we do are for consultants and their clients.

But npoint is correct, I highly recommend making sure your clients are verified first before starting citations. The reason being is that you'll want to make sure you're using Google's format for the address, because often times it's different than the one your client will give. While both would be technically correct, it's easier to change the address on the clients site than it is on their G places page.
