Removing URLs from G Webmaster

Hi,

So by accident I fetched URLs that are either dups or the incorrect URL. I tried to find the area to delete them & I can't.

I looked before & after I submitted to index.

Does anyone know how I can delete them.

Thanks

  • You can't delete them and they won't affect your rankings. Just leave them as they are and don't submit them to the index.
  • Some were already submitted.

I can't believe there's no way to delete them.

    Thanks
  • just leave them and dont mess with it
  • You do have the ability to delete URL's via Google Webmaster. I'm very surprised that people are saying you can't & don't do it.

The steps to remove URLS is as follows:
    1. Log into Webmaster Tools
    2. Select Google Index > Remove URL's
    3. Enter in the URL's you want removed. There will be a dropdown menu indicating a reason.
The url will show up as pending until it's reviewed & approved.

I find it frustrating that I'm giving detailed answers, and I put up my own questions, and no one has any idea. Where's all the SEO's at?
