How to Setup Manager Social Media Accounts for SEO Clients?

I'm hoping to get some meaningful discussion of where I can find some concrete answers, steps, best practices & a detailed plan to implement in an effort to better service SEO clients. The goal is to be more efficient, improve client security, and simply to get answers & recommendations, whereas, I haven't found any solid answers or solutions any where as of yet.

Scenario: When you need to setup and configure SEO client social media accounts, such as: 1.) Google My Business (a.k.a Places), 2.) Google Plus, 3.) Analytics; and need to create a secondary admin/manager account, and the client can't provide their main user/pwrd given that Google typically ties all of these user accounts into their initial Gmail account setup. Client wants to use their existing accounts & not setup new accounts for the SEO services.

Questions:

1. If a client can't or prefers not to provide direct site account access to setup: 1.) Google My Business (a.k.a Places), 2.) Google Plus, 3.) Analytics accounts, what steps or methods do you take to create a "managers/administrators" access for these sites?
a. Do you have or provide the client with your own checklist or documentation to follow to add an additional user/pwrd to be able to access the accounts & perform the SEO work?

2. How are you managing multiple clients account access details?

3. What software are you using or recommend if you're managing, setting up multiple client social media accounts?

4. When setting up a secondary Admin/Manager account, are there any pros/cons or anything to be aware of? Sometimes, setups like these don't always work or take properly, especially due to changes in Google over time.

Any insight, recommendations or advice would be extremely helpful from active, fellow SEO's. These methods are both for On-Site & Off-Site SEO work, so any advice will be greatful.
