URGENT - How to DE-LIST from GOOGLE

Hello

I know a lot of people are always looking to get listed on Google search results, but is there a way to remove from Google (de-list?).

I have a friend who needs to remove his details from Google searches - but its not easy to do.

NOTE - there is nothing shady, untoward or dodgy behind this - he has a very genuine reason why he needs to remove his search results.

I know that Google spider sits a take a snapshot 'cached' version then list it - but those sites have changed / been taken down / parked - so he's not mentioned any more, no longer involved - passed them on to others. But the previous cached results are still showing.

Then there's articles he's trying to have removed - but that's a virtual impossible task, as many sites who used his articles won't respond or their contact details bounce.

If anyone knows of an effective way to do this - any suggestions would be really helpful.

He's willing to pay if there is a real, proper, professional service which does such a thing? Does anyone know if there is such a service?

Please help!

Tom

  • The only sites you can have removed would be sites that you have access to ftp and then you can do it from google webmaster tools. You can't get content from other sites that you don't own taken down. You can try things like looking up the whois record and calling the owner, or maybe even sending a DMCA to their host if there is a violation. Otherwise, they are under no obligation to comply with you.
