What problems ?
Shoot more straight mate, Its a hard one to crack.

Ill give your brain something to think about meanwhile your doing a more specific thread.
Times are changing , as well as Google.
IF you live a life and have a business it will always be "problems".
I wouldn't say problems but "interesting situations" to solve.

Need tips on link building just check the forum or post a relevant question on the problems.

Not to scare you off but

You will always find new "errors" in everything you do no matter if its link building or in IRL.
Just face it, if your paid for SEO services your job is to solve this "problems".

Better go for profile linking, it will help in creating back links with out any problem, but remember you need to do some activities in that sites in which you are going to built profile linking. Next start posting content in web2.0 pages and have a link to your site (Content should be unique and quality), try few top Social bookmarking

1. Dofollow blogs commenting.
2. Guest posting for backlinks.
3. Forum posts

Google appreciate above mentioned techniques of backlink. Automatic tools will generate spam links.

The best advice I can give is to "go for diversity". Google and the other search engines want to see a diverse link portfolio which could consist of:
