Make video at the top of Youtube ?

Hi,

I don't understand the mechanism to get high placement on Youtube.
Is it the same with Google: the keywords, view,...?
Please have shared the other techniques to gain this.

  • I used to wonder a lot about that since they are many YouTube videos which seem to get very few views. I think it may be based entirely on relevance. I don't think that Google uses the same algorithm it uses to rank websites in order to assign placement to videos on YouTube.

  • Ranking on youtube is based on views and ratings/engagement.

    It also matters a lot on your channel and its subscribers (channel authority).
