Anyone Notice A Google Update?

I began noticing higher rankings a few days ago: entire sites and also pages that I have optimized for certain terms. But the last 48-hours have given the most dramatic results and I'm now beginning to see a pattern: platforms with the most social engagement. I don't think an update has occurred as yet, but I believe they're in the process of rolling one out. Too early to say for sure. I'd guess, if there is one, we'd know by the end of next week.

Anyone else noticed ranking shifts?

  • Its the Panda 4.1 roll out.

I've been implementing some of the page layout and ad elimination tips from SEO blogs and forums.

    So far so good

  • Thanks, WriteAway!

We've been doing pretty much the same across the board (on the type of platforms that require it). Like you say, so far so good!

  • So far we are seeing nothing but positive movements from all our client sites. These updates are actually a good thing for our business as it improves our rankings.
  • Oh to live and die by the whim of the ever fickle Google.

    I guy can dream...

    • I think you need some sleep, Brent.

I don't live and die by the whim of Google. I've managed to build up some nice traffic over the past 20 years. I merely noticed indications of an impending update.
